3949671 24V A/C Compressor for Caterpillar

Restore the refrigerant circuit on equipment using Caterpillar 394-9671 with this new compressor and clutch assembly. Its direct-mount body and 133 mm eight-rib pulley distinguish it from ear-mount and larger-pulley configurations.

New third-party replacement for the referenced Caterpillar part; not sold as a genuine Caterpillar-branded part.

Specifications

• 24V clutch; two-wire sealed connector
• 8-rib serpentine pulley; nominal diameter 133 mm
• Direct-mount housing
• Horizontal pad-style refrigerant connections
• R134a application

Compatibility

Replacement for the 394-9671 compressor configuration. Match the removed part number, mounting bores, belt alignment, connector and port layout using the machine serial number. Do not replace a larger 152 mm pulley unit with this compressor.

Installation

Installation should be performed by a qualified A/C technician. Match the system refrigerant and specified lubricant; verify the compressor oil charge against the equipment service procedure. Replace the receiver/drier and address contamination as required when replacing a failed compressor. Do not assume a factory oil fill matches the entire system requirement.
