Complete ring and pinion gear set with a master install kit for the rear axle of Broce Broom 350 sweepers. This is everything you need to rebuild the rear differential — gears, bearings, seals, shims, bolts, and hardware — in one box. Correct gear ratio for Broce hydraulic drive systems. Premium Koyo brand bearings throughout. Replaces Broce 7066139X and 076613-9X. In stock at $895 — less than half the Broce dealer price.
Your Broce Broom is howling, grinding, or clunking from the rear axle. The gear whine gets louder under load. You might be leaking gear oil from the pinion seal. Or the rear axle has completely locked up and the broom won't drive at all. A failed ring and pinion means the broom is off the road — and if you're a municipality under contract, an airport with an FOD sweep schedule, or a contractor with a deadline, that broom needs to be running.
You call the Broce dealer. The ring and pinion set is $1,475+ just for the gears. Then you need bearings, seals, shims, and hardware — all sold separately at dealer markup. By the time you add everything up, you're looking at $1,800–$2,000+ in parts alone, before labor. And the dealer lead time might be weeks.
We sell the complete gear set AND the master install kit as one package for $895 — less than half the dealer price for the gears alone. This is the correct ratio ring and pinion for the Broce 350 hydraulic drive system, bundled with every bearing, seal, shim, and bolt you need for a professional-grade rebuild. Nothing else to buy.
This is a complete kit. Everything you need is in the box:
This kit uses Koyo bearings — not generic imports. Koyo (JTEKT Corporation) is a Tier 1 Japanese bearing manufacturer and a direct OEM supplier to Toyota, Honda, Ford, and major drivetrain manufacturers worldwide. Koyo bearings are used as original equipment in millions of vehicles and industrial applications. They are heat-treated, precision-ground, and rated for the loads and temperatures of differential service. Cheap bearings in a ring and pinion rebuild are a recipe for premature failure and doing the job twice.
This ring and pinion set with master install kit fits the following Broce Broom models:
⚠️ Verify your Broce part number (7066139X or 076613-9X) in your service manual before ordering. If your broom is a 250 model or a non-standard configuration, contact us with your model and serial number to confirm fitment.
⚠️ Ring and pinion installation requires specialized knowledge, tools, and experience. If you are not experienced with differential rebuilds, we strongly recommend having a qualified drivetrain shop perform the installation. Improper setup (pinion depth, backlash, bearing preload) will destroy the gears and bearings in short order.
Can I install this myself?
If you have experience with differential rebuilds and the proper tools (dial indicator, bearing press, torque wrenches), yes. If this is your first ring and pinion job, we strongly recommend having a qualified drivetrain shop do the install. Incorrect pinion depth or backlash settings will destroy the new gears — and you'll be buying another set. The gears are not difficult to physically install, but the setup and adjustment require precision.
Why can't I just replace the ring gear (or just the pinion)?
Ring and pinion gears are manufactured as a matched, lapped set. The tooth profiles are ground together at the factory to ensure proper mesh and contact. You must always replace them as a set. Installing a new ring gear with an old pinion (or vice versa) will result in excessive noise, heat, and rapid failure.
What's the difference between a "master" kit and a "basic" kit?
A master install kit includes everything: carrier bearings, pinion bearings, all races, pinion seal, complete shim kit, ring gear bolts, pinion nut, crush collar, threadlocker, marking compound, and gasket material. A "basic" kit might only include bearings and a seal — leaving you to source shims, bolts, and hardware separately. Our master kit means nothing else to buy.
What are Koyo bearings?
Koyo is the bearing brand of JTEKT Corporation — a Tier 1 Japanese manufacturer and the world's third-largest bearing producer. Koyo bearings are OEM equipment in Toyota, Honda, Ford, GM, and many industrial applications. They are precision-ground, heat-treated, and rated for the high loads and temperatures of differential service. This is not a "cheap aftermarket bearing" — this is the same quality used by major OEMs.
How do I know if my gears are bad vs. just needing bearings?
If the noise is a constant whine that changes pitch with speed, it's usually the gears. If the noise is a rumble or growl that doesn't change with speed but changes when you turn, it's usually a carrier bearing. If you see metal particles in the gear oil, the gears are shedding material and need to be replaced. In most cases, if the gears are damaged enough to make noise, the bearings are also worn — which is why we sell the complete kit.
Is this the correct ratio for my Broce 350?
Yes. This is the factory-correct ratio for the Broce Broom 350 hydraulic drive system, matching OEM part number 7066139X / 076613-9X. It is not a generic automotive ratio — it is specific to the Broce drivetrain.
