Check the Shaft Position and Mounting Pattern

• Position: jackshaft in the cutter-wheel drive assembly
• Quantity: two complete pillow block bearings
• Shaft bore: 1-1/4 inch
• Mounting pattern: approximately 5-inch class; confirm exact supplied housing dimensions
• Two-bolt housing with set-screw shaft locking

Do not select by bore diameter alone. A 1-1/4-inch bearing with a 4-3/4-inch mounting pattern is a different housing. A supplier housing may specify 4.96-inch bolt centers rather than exactly 5 inches. Measure the existing bolt centers, shaft center height and available clearance, and compare the actual replacement dimensions before ordering. Jackshaft vs. Cutter-Wheel Bearings

The SC252 parts manual lists 142464001 at the jackshaft and 142465001 at the cutter-wheel shaft. The cutter-wheel bearing has a 1-1/2-inch bore and is not interchangeable with this 1-1/4-inch jackshaft bearing.
