Installation Notes

• Chock the rear wheels and secure the machine on a flat, level surface
• Raise the front of the machine and support on jack stands
• Remove the front wheel
• Disconnect the brake line from the old caliper — have drain pan ready for brake fluid
• Remove the caliper mounting bolts (typically 2 bolts or slide pins)
• Remove the old caliper
• Inspect the rotor — check for scoring, warping, or minimum thickness. Resurface or replace if needed
• Mount the new caliper — the ceramic pads are already installed
• Install and torque the mounting bolts to spec
• Connect the brake line — use new copper crush washers if applicable
