Your Bobcat's wiper isn't working — the blade won't move, it moves intermittently, the motor runs but the arms are seized, or the linkage has snapped. You're looking at the windshield through mud, rain, concrete slurry, or grading dust and you can't see. On a skid steer operating around people, obstacles, and other machines, visibility is safety. The Bobcat dealer wants $327 to $350 for a replacement wiper motor assembly.
We sell the complete drop-in assembly for $249.00 — saving you over $60 vs the dealer and $59 vs the leading online competitor. This is NOT just the bare motor — this is the complete ready-to-bolt-on assembly including the heavy-duty motor, the custom mounting bracket (6.25"), and the dual-pivot pantograph arms already timed and set from the factory. Replaces Bobcat part numbers 7234174 (current) and 7168952 (older revision).
You can find bare wiper motors online for less money. Do not go down that path. Here's why:
The complete assembly eliminates all of this. The arms are already timed, the bracket is pre-fitted, and the connector matches your harness. Unbolt the old one, bolt on the new one, plug it in, done. 15 minutes.
This assembly comes with the factory-correct 6-pin grey connector that plugs directly into your Bobcat's cab wiring harness. No wire splicing, no adapter harness, no pin-by-pin matching. Just plug it in.
⚠️ Note: Older G-Series Bobcats used a different connector style. This 6-pin grey plug is for the modern A770, S-Series, and T-Series loaders listed below. Verify your machine is on the compatibility list before ordering.
The 7234174 / 7168952 wiper motor assembly fits the following Bobcat models:
⚠️ This assembly uses the 6-pin grey connector for modern A770, S-Series, and T-Series machines. Older G-Series Bobcats may use a different connector. Verify your Bobcat part number (7234174 or 7168952) in your parts catalog before ordering. Contact us with your model and serial number if unsure.
What is the difference between 7234174 and 7168952?
7234174 is the current part number; 7168952 is the older revision it supersedes. They are a direct interchange — the 7234174 assembly bolts in and plugs into any machine that originally used the 7168952. If you search either number, you need this assembly.
Can I just replace the motor and reuse my old arms?
We don't recommend it. The factory arms are riveted to motor splines and typically seize over time from vibration and moisture. Drilling out the rivets and pressing off seized splines usually damages the coupler. Even if you get the motor swapped, re-timing the pantograph arms correctly is difficult without fixtures. The complete assembly is a 15-minute job with zero risk of timing errors.
Will this work on my older G-Series Bobcat?
This assembly uses the modern 6-pin grey connector. Older G-Series machines may use a different connector plug. Check your parts catalog — if your machine calls for part number 7234174 or 7168952, this assembly fits. If your machine uses a different part number, contact us to verify.
Does this include the wiper blade?
No — this is the motor, bracket, and pantograph arm assembly. Your existing wiper blade transfers to the new assembly. If your blade is worn, now is a good time to replace it — wiper blades for Bobcat loaders are inexpensive and widely available.
